Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support - CPR with AED Training for Caregiving Trainees and Staff

Aparri, Cagayan – The Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support – CPR with AED Training for Caregiver NCII trainees and A.P.I. staff has begun on September 5, 2023, and is being conducted by the Philippine Red Cross. This two (2) days training is crucial for individuals to  equips them with essential skills to respond to emergencies and provide immediate assistance when needed:

    The aforementioned training covers including:
          • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR);
          • Automated External Defibrillator (AED) operation;
          • Basic Life Support (BLS);
          • First Aid; and
          • Emergency response.

The aforementioned celebrations frequently feature a range of activities and events designed to highlight the achievements and contributions.  Such events are not only a way to celebrate past accomplishments but also a platform to discuss future objectives and initiatives in the field of Technical Education and Skills Development.

Aparri, Cagayan – The Aparri Polytechnic Institute celebrated the TESDA Anniversary with Thanksgiving Mass

      TESDANS in A.P.I. planted 50 pieces of Narra Seedlings as a productive way of celebrating the 29th Anniversary of TESDA. The narra seedlings were donated by the CENRO-DENR Aparri. Our deepest thanks to Sir Joselito D. Razon for his generosity and immediate and favorable action for our request.

Aparri, Cagayan – Kasalukuyan ang pagsasanay ng 25 trainees sa Aparri Polytechnic Institute ng Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) NC2 under STEP. They are performing roughing in activities; wiring and cabling works; and installing electrical lighting, power, protective devices, switches, and outlets. It’s also worth commending the gender-inclusive nature of the training, allowing both genders to participate equally.

25 trainees are currently undergoing training in Tile Setting NC II

A fresh batch of trainees is set to undergo 117 hours of Tile Setting NC II training under the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP). 

Aparri, Cagayan – Twenty-Five (25) trainees are currently undergoing training in Tile Setting NC II under the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP). As these trainees progress through the program, they’ll gain the knowledge and expertise needed to work with tools and equipment like electric angle grinders, manual tile cutters, and installing and arranging tiles.

Overall, this training program not only prepares participants for potential employment but also contributes to the growth of skilled workers in the tile-setting industry.

Aparri, Cagayan – During the land preparation phase, trainees would typically learn about various techniques and practices involved in preparing the soil for planting organic crops. Throughout this phase, trainees would gain practical hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge that will be essential for them to become proficient in organic agriculture production. This is a vital step in their training journey, as it forms the basis for successful organic crop cultivation and sustainable farming practices.
