June 5, 2020, TESDA Aparri Polytechnic Institute delivered 205 packs of Butterscotch to the frontliners of different agencies in Aparri, namely: Boundary Checkpoint Frontliners, Aparri District Hospital, Lyceum of Aparri Hospital, Municipal Health Office, Aparri Police Station, W. Charles Selby Hospital, BJMP Aparri, and Barangay Checkpoints.
TESDA Aparri Polytechnic Institute delivered face masks to frontliners stationed at the boundary checkpoints. A total of 200 face masks were distributed as follows: 50 pcs at Aparri, 25 pcs at Camalaniugan, 25 pcs at Lal-lo, 25 pcs at Magapit, 25 pcs at Gattaran and 50 pcs at Iguig.
TESDA Aparri Polytechnic Institute donated fresh vegetables from the Mini-Organic farm, 10 kilos of pechay and 14 kilos of tomatoes to Barangay Maura as part of the support to the frontliners, and to showcase the mini-organic farm for a possible tie-up in conducting training in Organic Agriculture Production to the constituents to make them busy in their homes.
TESDA Aparri Polytechnic Institute headed by Dr. Renato Ubiña, VSA III delivered face masks to the front liners of the different organizations; 500 pcs to the Local Government Unit of Aparri, 100 pcs to Lyceum of Aparri Hospital, 60 pcs to PNP Aparri, 50 pcs to Bjmp Aparri and 40 pcs to the Barangay Maura with a total of 750 face masks delivered today.

To date, Region II TESDA Technology Institutions have produced a total of 4, 627 face masks and baked 1,240 packs of bread and pastries which were distributed to various frontliners around the region.
It can be recalled that Sec. Isidro S. Lapeña has mobilized all TTIs for the mass production of face masks and baked products to be given free to all frontliners. TESDA Region II is expected to produce 9, 000 pieces of masks.
Trainee-alumni in tailoring of Nueva Vizcaya Polytechnic Institute brought home sewing machines as they volunteered in the mass production of masks amidst threat of COVID-19. The said masks will be given to public hospitals requesting fir their staff due to dearth of available supplies. The other masks will be given to frontliners like policemen and barangay tanods who are presently manning checkpoints.
TESDA Region 2 mobilized its five schools in the production of masks in order to help in the campaign to alleviate spread the virus of COVID-19. To date a total of 3,250 masks have been produced and production is still ongoing.
