ONGOING: TESDA-Aparri Polytechnic Institute conducts Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC II (SMAW NC II) in Allacapan, Cagayan under Tulong Trabaho Scholarship Program with Mr. Jay Unista as their Trainer.
NOW IN APARRI POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE: Provincial Director Romeo O. Talosig personally distributed the toolkits of 23 trainees in Tailoring NC II under the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP). He was assisted by Ms. Josephine N. Cabrera, Supervising TESD Specialist and Renato D. Ubiña, A.P.I.’s Vocational School Administrator III.
PD Talosig emphasized the proverb that Secretary Isidro S. Lapeña is advocating “Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”. Giving them food won’t allow them to sustain their daily living but teaching them how to fish will definitely give them a daily source of living. TESDA is equipping its trainees with skills in order for them to use as their source of income and these toolkits will help them as they start their new venture.
The toolkit is composed of the following: Portable Sewing Machine, Fabric cutting shears, Plastic Ruler, French Curve & Tailor’s L Square.
APARRI POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE celebrates Heart’s Day during the conduct of its Monday Convocation. Trainees handed flowers to their trainers after the Flag Ceremony and Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology Batch 3 rendered a dance number together with their adviser Dr. Robert N. Pagulayan. It was truly a celebration of love as TESDA-A.P.I. continuously shows its love to everyone daily by delivering programs to everyone who wished to be equipped not only with knowledge but also appreciative attitude and competitive skills.

LOOK I The Aparri Polytechnic Institute (API) in partnership with the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) conducted skills training in Cookery particularly on Filipino and Chinese Dishes (Hot Meals) to residents of Sta. Ana, Cagayan.
Dr. Renato B. Ubiña, API’s Vocational School Administrator said that Sta. Ana is one of the popular tourists destinations in the province and upskilling of the residents shall increase their employability and productivity level.

Nolasco distributed 50 boxes of starter toolkits to trainees who finished Electronics Product Assembly & Servicing NC II, Dressmaking NC II & Automotive Servicing NC I under UQTEA & STEP Scholarships on November 9, 2021 at Gattaran, Cagayan.
