Resident auditors headed by Ms. Jona May Benito of the Commission on Audit (COA) Region II conducted an Entrance Conference held at the Gladys Conference Hall, TESDA Regional Office, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan

LOOK I Resident auditors headed by Ms. Jona May Benito of the Commission on Audit (COA) Region II conducted an Entrance Conference held at the Gladys Conference Hall, TESDA Regional Office, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan on September 21, 2022.

The meeting was attended by Lasam Institute of Technology (LIT) and Aparri Polytechnic Institute (API) Administrators Engr. Dominador Dizon and Dr. Renato Ubiña together with the supply officers, accountants and budget officers including that of the Regional Training Center and PO Cagayan. Regional Office attendees include Regional Director Archie A. Grande, CESO III, Ms. Imelda Gervacio, chief of the Finance and Administrative Services Division (FASD) and Ms. Fatima Carag, Chief of the Regional Operations Division (ROD) Chiefs and other personnel.

The purpose of the meeting is to inform the attendees of the audit objectives, audit scope, areas and audit timelines for the year.

Bamboo rhizomes were planted within the vicinity of the said institution which is good for the environment.

Cognizant to the celebration of the Philippine Bamboo Month, personnel of the Aparri Polytechnic Institute (API) together with officers of the Student Council Organization participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous Bamboo Planting Activity last September 19, 2022.
 
Bamboo rhizomes were planted within the vicinity of the said institution which is good for the environment.

TESDA, DOLE provide Interventions to Earthquake-Hit Residents of Aparri Town

Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) through the TESDA Cagayan Provincial Office and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) through its Public Employment Service Office (PESO) tie up in providing needed interventions to residents of Aparri, Cagayan who were affected by the magnitude 7 earthquake which hit mostly the island on Northern Luzon last July 2022.
 
A total of 15 residents have undergone training in Carpentry NC II and Masonry NC II which was conducted by the Aparri Polytechnic Institute (API). For their part, DOLE have enlisted the said trainees as beneficiaries of their Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers or TUPAD Program.
 
The graduates received a total of 120 thousand pesos (4 thousand pesos each) assistance from DOLE during the TUPAD payout held at the API Audio-Visual Room in the said town.

It was graced by TESDA Cagayan Provincial Director Romeo O. Talosig, DOLE Cagayan Head Grace A. Pomar and API Administrator Renato Ubiña.

The evening of August 18, 2022 was a night of beauty and glamour among TESDAns of Region II who came together for the regional celebration of TESDA’s 28th Anniversary held at TESDA Regional Office II, Carig Norte, Tuguegarao City.
Thw event was headlined by the Search for Mr. and Ms. TESDA 2022 which was participated in by the different operating units in the region. 8 candidates rocked their TESDA attires, Filipiniana attires as well as their retro attires. They also showcased their astounding talents in the Talent Portion.
 
Additionally, the Retro Dance Competition also brought everyone’s excitement to the next level.
 
TESDA Region II also acknowledged its outstanding partners, graduates, as well as its performing operating units and all the loyalty awardees during the event.
