Tuguegarao, Cagayan – On June 22, The ongoing training on Trainers’ Methodology I is currently conducted at Cagayan State University – Andrews Campus, Caritan, Tuguegarao City. The TRAINERS METHODOLOGY LEVEL I consists of competencies a TVET trainer performing functions of trainer and assessor must achieve. A TVET trainer is a person who enables a learner or a group of learners to develop competencies to performing a particular trade or technical work.

Aparri, Cagayan – On June 22, Another Driving NC II training is currently on going at Ballesteros, Cagayan. This is a regular training sponsored by the local government of Ballesteros thru their good Mayor Vincent G. Unite.

Aparri, Cagayan – On June 22, Ongoing training of Driving NC II with Robert N. Pagulayan, Ph.D. as their Trainer at TESDA-Aparri Driving Area. 

Aparri, Cagayan – The TESDA-Aparri Polytechnic Institute conducted community-based training in Ballesteros, Cagayan. These training programs empowered individuals within a community by providing them with knowledge, skills, and resources to address local challenges and make informed decisions.

Aparri Polytechnic Institute – Mr. Vhermalee Tacus from Allacapan, Cagayan is a trainee of Tesda Aparri Polytechnic Institute in SMAW NCII with Mr. Jay Unista as his trainer. He is now employed as Metal Fabricator Welder in New Zealand.

Aparri, Cagayan – On June 1, the newly TESDA’S Regional Director Vince Aljon A. Cifra’s official visit to the Municipal Government of Aparri, along with Provincial Director Romeo O. Talosig an Aparriano, led a courtesy visit organized by the Aparri Polytechnic Institute under the leadership of Eduardo L Escobar Ph.D., Acting Vocational School Administrator.

TESDA Regional Director expressed his gratitude to Mayor Bryan Chan for warmly receiving the courtesy visit, demonstrating his commitment to fostering a partnership between TESDA and the local government. This collaboration is essential for promoting TVET and ensuring the development of a skilled and empowered workforce in Aparri.

By working together with the local government and other stakeholders, TESDA aims to achieve its vision of a city with a competent workforce that will contribute to the growth and prosperity of the town. This visit marks an important milestone in those ongoing efforts and signifies the dedication of all involved parties toward realizing this shared objective.

Aparri, Cagayan – On June 1, 2023,  Regional Director Vincent Aljon A. Cifra also visited the Aparri Polytechnic Institute (API), one of the TESDA Administered Schools (TAS) which is situated in the northernmost part of Cagayan.

Dir. Cifra had a meeting with the personnel led by the Acting Administrator Mr. Eduardo Escobar.

Meeting the personnel for the first time, RD. Cifra shared TESDA Region II’s vision as “A vibrant and responsive TVET ecosystem in Region II with excellence standards,” underscoring that programs and activities of all operating units in the region should be aligned with the regional vision that was developed in lieu of TESDA’s national vision and the Cagayan Valley Regional Development Plan (CVRDP).

Additionally, RD also said encouraged the personnel to keep doing what they do best and always strive to Deliver Optimum Service to the clients.
